Progress has occurred. The laundry pile, however, remains emotionally committed to the floor.

🤖 How AI-valued works: The kid takes a "before" photo of the mess. Claude evaluates the chaos and sets a brick reward based on how much work it will take. The harder the job, the more it pays. You approve the value before they start.

Ordinary Happily Ever After | Last updated: June 2026
Bricks & Brownie Points is a chore-and-reward app made by Ordinary Happily Ever After, owned and operated by a licensed family therapist. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What We Collect
Account info: your family ID, PIN, and optional email address.
Family data: kids' first names, ages, emoji avatars, and brick balances you enter.
Chore photos: photos your household takes to verify completed chores.
Usage data: how many AI checks are used per day, for billing purposes.
⚠️ AI Photo Analysis — Important Disclosure
When a household member submits a chore photo for AI verification, that photo is sent to Anthropic, Inc. (maker of Claude AI) for analysis. Anthropic processes the image to determine whether the chore appears complete and returns a result. Photos submitted for AI analysis are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We do not control Anthropic's data practices. If you use the free plan with manual parent approval, photos are not sent to Anthropic.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
This app is designed for use by families. The account holder must be a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older. By creating an account, you confirm you are an adult and you are providing consent on behalf of all household members, including any children under 13. We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts independently. We collect only the minimum information needed to operate the app. If you believe a child has created an account without parental consent, contact us immediately at support@ordinaryhappilyeverafter.com.

Use of the App

AI Verification
AI photo verification is available on paid and trial plans. The AI makes a good-faith assessment of whether a chore appears complete — it is not infallible. Final approval authority always rests with the parent or guardian.
